How do I rank higher in "near me" searches?
Google shows the businesses it thinks are the best match, close by and well known. You can't move closer to the person searching, so work on the other two: a complete, accurate Google Business Profile, a website that says clearly what you do and where, and a steady stream of recent reviews.
"Near me" searches pull mostly from Google Maps. Google says it looks at relevance, distance and prominence, and that more reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking. Relevance comes from your categories, services and the words on your website. Prominence comes from reviews, photos, links and how much the web talks about you. Name each town you serve on your site, add real job photos every week, reply to every review, and keep your details identical everywhere you're listed.
Say two pressure washers are the same distance from someone searching. The one whose site has a page about driveway cleaning in that town, with photos from a job down the street and a dozen new reviews this month, is the one Google picks.
We build that site, fill the gaps on your profile, and turn the work you already do into those photos and posts.
